Blah Blah Blah

I am not sure my fascination with white. If I knew Picasso I would buy myself a gray guitar and wish I knew how to play.

I am hoping to get oodles and oodles of stuff done this weekend as the two most labor intensive people in my life, hubby and son will be at a state tournament in Portland wed-sat.

My son wrestles and is quite good at it, so I've heard because I cant watch. All the medals and newspaper articles tell me he is good. Too hard for me to watch. So intense. So.......intense. It is not like watching a team sport, it is one on one. Too much for me.

I must find more things to put on blog.

A couple tries at website layout

WEEK 8 :)

Here is the map of SOU I did for a class last term. I enjoyed it. I wish we had some 3D mapping software. That would have made it awesome. It could use a lot more tweaking but I had to get it done! This is supposed to be a part of a larger project, but I dont know where the rest of it went.
Ernesto did miles of ActionScript to make this interactive and Lucas and (sorry I forgot her name) took lots of pics and made panoramas and such to try to update the current map for the school.

A Solid Dose of Reality

“Everything is meaningless,” says the Teacher, “completely meaningless!”

What do people get for all their hard work under the sun? Generations come and generations go, but the earth never changes. The sun rises and the sun sets, then hurries around to rise again. The wind blows south, and then turns north. Around and around it goes, blowing in circles. Rivers run into the sea, but the sea is never full. Then the water returns again to the rivers and flows out again to the sea. Everything is wearisome beyond description. No matter how much we see, we are never satisfied. No matter how much we hear, we are not content.

History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new. Sometimes people say, “Here is something new!” But actually it is old; nothing is ever truly new. We don’t remember what happened in the past, and in future generations, no one will remember what we are doing now.

I, the Teacher, was king of Israel, and I lived in Jerusalem. I devoted myself to search for understanding and to explore by wisdom everything being done under heaven. I soon discovered that God has dealt a tragic existence to the human race. I observed everything going on under the sun, and really, it is all meaningless—like chasing the wind.

Making progress :)

Well...Here I am, nothing to show, which is not to say that I have done nothing since our last meeting. Actually, I have done quite a lot. I have been working on a business card design that is coming along very well and my portfolio site has several different looks that I am considering.

I also have the church site in the works.

My BIGGEST problem is that I am working off of 2 flash drives on 3 different computers and I am extremely confused and can not find anything. Not only that....much of the content for my site is also on CD's...

So I spend way too much time trying to find everything and I am not sure how to tackle the problem.

I saved several screen shots on the mac downstairs a few days ago...they are now on the f/drive.
I THOUGHT I put to my flash (one of them :) ) but apparently not. Nor can I find on the f drive so I am assuming (you know what they say about that) that they are still on the desktop downstairs.

Also my bus card that I have been working on at home must be on desktop at home.

So there you have it...

If I had 3 monitors to open Bridge in too look at everything at once, I would be great!!
I just realized that I can do that during my lab shift downstairs and will be bringing EVERYTHING with me next monday!!

Well....its been over a week since my last post. I like the whole idea behind the Blog but finding time everyday to post things is difficult for me. I suppose I should at least pick a few days a week and try to commit to that.
